On the occasion of World Hearing Day, the facility of Brain Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA)was inaugurated by Director Health Services, GMSH 16, Dr Suman Singh.<\/p>\n
This test is available only in GMCH 32, PGI Chandigarh and only 2-3 medical colleges in the entire Punjab. GMSH 16 has now become one of the pioneers in this facility.<\/p>\n
BERA TEST is basically an objective test who can detect congenital sensorineural hearing loss<\/strong> ,even in a new born baby so that immediate treatment can be planned like cochlear implant.
