A 3-day carnival is held at the Leisure Valley at the open grounds in front of the Government Museum and Art Gallery, Sector 10, in\u00a0 December every year.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Beautiful, colorful and creative floats are made by the students of Government College of Art, Sector 10, which are taken around in tableaux in a procession passing the matka chowk and other areas with traditional Punjabi dholis adding conviviality to the whole atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Chandigarh tourism holds the carnival to attract domestic and international tourist apart from keeping the environment in the city lively and happening.
