The Purpose

The Intentionality Road Ultra Run is more than a race—it's a movement rooted in mindfulness and meaning. As we lace up with purpose, we honour the remarkable legacy of Dr. Subbanna Ayyappan, a pioneer of India’s Blue Revolution.

Dr. Ayyappan’s work transformed the landscape of fisheries and aquaculture in India, enabling sustainable livelihoods and improving food security for millions. His journey—from scientist to changemaker—embodied what it means to live and lead with intention.

As we run these miles, we celebrate a man who believed in progress rooted in science, community, and impact. His life reminds us that purposeful action—whether in a lab, a village, or on a race course—can leave a lasting ripple.

Events Requirements:

Participants must be 12 years or older on race day and 16 years or older to compete in the 21.1K (Half Marathon).
The sale or transfer of race entries/bib numbers is strictly prohibited.
Registration fees are non-refundable.
All participants are required to show a government-issued photo ID matching the registered name for participant packet pickup.
Participants must collect their participant packet (bib, timing device & t-shirt) at the Expo at the provided location during official hours or arrange delivery through local courier delivery apps (Dunzo, Zepto, etc.).
All participants must comply with city, state, and public health regulations.
Familiarity with and adherence to all event rules is mandatory.

Where does this event happen?

The Run starts and ends at The Glampies, not far from where Saalu Marada Thimmakka planted 8,000 trees along a 4-kilometre stretch of road.

How do we reach the Race Start point?

Enjoy hassle-free travel to the event! Ample parking is available at the venue, or you can opt for our convenient transportation service from/to Bangalore for INR 600/- (payable separately).

What Support will be provided on the Race Day?

Sufficient food and hydration will be provided.
Port-a-loos will be placed at convenient places.
Necessary medical support will be provided to all runners throughout the course of the race.

What about the BIB Collection?

The Registered runners can collect their Packet containing from the Expo. The venue and time of the Expo will be updated closer to the event. You can also opt for local delivery services such as Dunzo and Swiggy Genie at extra cost.
