98thPercentile is excited to announce the launch of Scratch Olympiad Kahoot, a digital event contest for students in grades 1 to 6. The event will take place on June 17th and 18th, 2023, with registration open now.

Scratch Coding Programming is a steppingstone for young students to the world of coding. The intention behind this event is to help students identify their aptitude for logical reasoning, problem identification and solving, and coding skills.

The contest is open to students in grades 1 to 6, with participation categories for grades 1 & 2, grades 3 & 4, and grades 5 & 6.
 

Awards and scholarships of up to $1500 will be awarded to the top performers, and all participants will receive participation certificates.

What Is Scratch Coding Olympiad Kahoot?

 

Scratch Coding Olympiad Kahoot is designed to test participants' knowledge and skills in Scratch Programming. It will also test additional skills like Logical Aptitude, Reasoning, Problem Identification and Solving.

Participants may be required to demonstrate their understanding of programming concepts such as variables, loops, conditionals, and events. They may also be required to create programs, solve coding problems, or debug existing code.

All of this with the fun element of KAHOOT. Participants will compete with peers across the country on the Kahoot platform.
