THE KIKAR LODGE 1RACE FOREST ULTRA
A grueling and brutally testing race through the rugged, jagged, and battle infused historical forest trails of the Anandpur Sahib Valley in Punjab.
Beautiful, Technical, Wild, Demanding, these are some of the adjectives to describe the Kikar Lodge 1Race Forest Ultra. The Ultra run allows you to discover the Kikar Forest, adjoining villages of Nurpur Bedi and the wilderness that surround them. To cross this unique trail is to walk where history, the technical terrain, and the kindness of its inhabitants blend together.
With its unique landscapes and running along the dense forest is going to be the adventure of a lifetime. It is up to you to come and write the history of this spectacular race.
There are 3 distances to choose from, The Invincible 50KM Challenge, The Fearless 25KM Challenge, and The Valiant 16KM Challenge.

INVINCIBLE 50KM CHALLENGE – This ticket entitles you for participation in 50 KM of Kikar 1Race Forest Ultra. You will receive the following Bandana or Technical Trail Running Cap, Trail Running T-Shirt, Finisher Medal, Race Timing, On Route Hydration and Post Race Refreshment, and One Finisher's Celebratory Drink Credit at The Kikar Forest Lodge. For 50K (Completed 1 official Full Marathon or above distance in last 6 months).
FEARLESS 25KM CHALLENGE – This ticket entitles you for participation in 25 KM of Kikar 1Race Forest Ultra. You will receive the following Bandana or Technical Trail Running Cap, Trail Running T-Shirt, Finisher Medal, Race Timing, On Route Hydration and Post Race Refreshment, and One Finisher's Celebratory Drink Credit at The Kikar Forest Lodge. For 25K (Completed 1 official Half Marathon or above distance in last 6 months).
VALIANT 16KM CHALLENGE – This ticket entitles you for participation in 16 KM of Kikar 1Race Forest Ultra. You will receive the following Bandana or Technical Trail Running Cap, Trail Running T-Shirt, Finisher Medal, Race Timing, On Route Hydration and Post Race Refreshment, and One Finisher's Celebratory Drink Credit at The Kikar Forest Lodge. For 16K (Completed 1 official 10K run or above distance in last 6 months).

1RACE FOREST ULTRA - RULES:-

Eligibility: Only those 18 years and above on the race day will be allowed to compete.
MANDATORY GEAR :
1) HYDRATION PACK
2) TRAIL RUNNING SHOES
3) HEADLIGHTS
4) MOBILE PHONE
5) LIGHTER 6) WHISTLE
Participants may be disqualified at any time during the race for the following reasons:
1) Taking shortcuts and/or running off the trails.
2) Not carrying the mandatory equipment.
3) Throwing garbage onto the course (this applies to both the racers and his/her supporters).
4) Receiving outside support at other than the stipulated aid stations
5) Running with people who are not officially registered in the race as racers.
Running bib should always be worn and the number should be visible on the CHEST during the race at all times.

Terms and conditions
By registering and participating in the above mentioned event, you acknowledge and accept that:
1. You possess the necessary skill set, endurance and fitness levels for participating in the event.
2. You do not suffer/ have suffered from any medical condition that necessitates that you should not or
ought not to participate at such an event.
3. Road Running has inherent risk of bodily injury whether internal or external (viz extreme dehydration,
stroke due to exertions or extreme case of allergy) which may be grievous, resulting in partial or total
disability and even death. You, personally assume all the liability/ies arising out of any injury, damage or
loss from your participation and shall not hold the organizers/ administrators of (Event Organiser) liable
for such injury, loss or damage.
4. All medical and/ or rescue operations shall be pro-bono and on best efforts basis. Race participants
have been explained the inherent risks of participation.
5. Neither the organizers nor the administrators nor the group shall be liable for situations leading to any
injury, loss, damage or death.
6. Accident Waiver and Release of Liability (AWRL)
6.1 I acknowledge that this event is a test of a person's physical and mental limits and carries with it the
potential for death, serious injury and property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to, those caused
by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, condition of athletes, equipment, vehicular traffic, actions of
other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, coaches, event officials and
event monitors, and/or producers of the event, and lack of hydration. These risks are not only inherent to
participants, but are also present for volunteers and other crew. I hereby assume all of the risks of
participating and/or volunteering in this event. I realize that liability may arise from negligence or
carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, or because of their possible liability
without fault.
6.2 I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained to be a participant in the event and have not
been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.
6.3 I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability (AWRL) form will govern my actions
and responsibilities at the race.
6.4 In consideration for permitting me to participate in this event, I hereby take action for myself, my
executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) Waive, Release and
Discharge (Event Organiser), its members, event volunteers and event participants, from any and all
liability for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, lost income, or any other
losses, costs or actions of any kind which hereafter may accrue to me by virtue of my training for this
event, my participation in this event or my travel to or from this event; (B) Indemnify and hold harmless the
entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made by other
individuals or entities as a result of any of my actions during this event.
I hereby consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury,
accident and or illness during this event.
I understand that at this event or related activities, I may be photographed.
6.5 I agree to allow my photo, video or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by (Event
Organiser), its members and volunteers.
6.6 (Event Organiser) does not provide medical facilities or insurance coverage for injuries that occur at
the race. The costs related to those injuries are the responsibility of the individual participant.
6.7 This AWRL shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent
permissible under applicable law.
