Race - Start Time – Cut Off Timings

50K - 05:30 hrs - 8:00 hrs (8:30 hrs)*
30K - 05:30 hrs - 5:00 hrs (5:15 hrs)*
21K - 06:00 hrs - 4:00 hrs
10K - 06:30 hrs - 2:00 hrs

*Timings indicated with an asterisk are the timings which are allowed to a veteran category runner.

QUALIFICATION & AGE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR EACH RACE
=====================================================

For 50K - You must have completed a minimum of 42 Kms OR minimum of 2 X 21 Kms done within last 2 years.

For 30K - You must have completed a minimum of 21 Kms done within last 2 years.

There is no qualification criteria for 21 Kms & 10 Kms run distances.

AGE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR EACH RACE

For 21 Kms and beyond distances - All athletes must be 18 or older on race day.

For 10 Kms distance - All people must be 14 years or older on the race day.

START & FINISH POINT
===================

The race starts & finishes at Baywatch Resort Goa, Colva (Salcete) - Near Sernabatim Beach for all the race categories.

U Turn will be from Benaulim Beach, Salcete.

RACE ROUTE & AID STATIONS
=========================

The race route is totally flat (no elevation is there in the race) and will keep you ever fresh and enthusiastic as the race route is full of cool breeze, sand, sun, waves & shacks and will provide you a reviving and zealous escapade all together — what's GOA known for after-all.

The race loop is 5 kms (2.5 kms out & 2.5 kms back) which will be 95% granular wet beach sand and 5% road (run feel is equivalent to tar road when you run on the beach sand but it gives you a little push from the ground) absolutely traffic free which will be perfectly cherished by you.

2 Aid Stations along with 1 Medical Station at the Start Point will be put up in the race as they shall be enough to keep you well hydrated and energyful all the way to and fro in the wet and damp air.

It will be completely a different running experience for all the runners as it is a pure beach run. While running on the Colva Beach, fishermen’s motor vessels / boats can be seen anchored in a line offshore. The shore is full of coconut trees, tiny conches & shells.

Tourists — Indian and foreigners, as well as locals — can be seen in colorful dresses, coming either for a walk or for a 'change of air'. Many tourists can be seen having a sunbath on the beach sand.

On 28th October, 2023, i.e. Saturday from 13:00 hrs – 17:00 hrs at Baywatch Resort Goa, Colva (Salcete), the participants can collect their bib along with their goodies at the race bib expo.

No goodie bags & bibs shall be distributed on the race day.

GRATIFICATIONS FOR PODIUM FINISHERS

Tuffman Trophies to First 3 Podium Finishers shall be awarded to Both Men & Women, from each run category, (if applicable).

BAGGAGE COUNTER FOR ALL
==========================

Bags will be kept safe at the baggage counter at START / FINISH area. Valuables like mobile, wallet, cash, valuable metals, MP3 players, etc. are not to be kept inside the bag.

Light Convenience Bags can be handed over to the Team Tuffman with runner's name tag attached on it at the baggage counter on the race day. (Tags will be supplied in the goodie bag on the expo day). The bags will be available at start / finish point near the 0K Aid Station. (Any kind of valuables not to be kept inside the submitted bag, under any circumstances)

Bags kept anywhere outside the designated area - would not be administered by us. Baggage will be completely kept at owner's risk and any kind of theft claims won't be entertained.

For your convenience, we would simply suggest the outstation participants to stay at Baywatch Resort Goa, Colva (Salcete) - a four star resort, as we have arranged the Accommodation for 2 days with Breakfast at the best available rates, if purchased through main website.

Staying at the resort will be more comfy as the race starts & finishes at Baywatch Resort Goa only & is well equipped for a luxurious yet economical stay for your family and friends.

CANCELLATION / TRANSFER OF TICKETS / REFUND POLICY

Cancellations / Transfer of Tickets / Refunds are not possible at all. Any requests received will NOT be eligible for a refund, under any circumstances.

Also, in case of occurrence of any unforeseeable circumstances / events / situations (even force majeure) due to any x-factor leading up to event cancellation, the event fees paid wouldn't be refunded under any circumstances.

ONLY APPLICABLE IN CASE OF THE NEW WAVE OF COVID-19 or ANY OTHER EXTERNAL DISTURBANCE LEADING TO FORCE MAJEURE - There will be no future adjustment / carry forward of the fees towards any other event in any case, and the race format will be changed into a NON - TIMED Virtual Race for everyone. The physical takeaways like Race T-SHIRT, Finisher Medal (based on finish status) & other items (if any) shall be sent via courier 50 days after the virtual event.

IN CASE OF ACCOMMODATION - Cancellations / Refunds are not possible at all, as again this one is a negotiated rate with the resort (even in force majeure events).

By agreeing to this disclaimer, i agree to abide by the rules of Tuffman Beach Ultra & Half Marathon Goa 2023 (7th Edition) dated 29th October, 2023 (Sunday) and i understand that it is my responsibility to take care of myself while running.
I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically fit and properly trained. Any health problems or fatal cases such as death-causing accidents or even death before, during or after the event, the organizers, sponsors, promoters, event location owners and each of their agents, representative’s successors and assigns, and all other persons and entities associated either directly or indirectly with the event, will not be responsible at all.
In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I presume full responsibility for any injury or accident that may occur while I am travelling to the event or while coming back from the event, or while I am on the premises of the event. I am also aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including, but not limited to falling with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic and conditions of the road or any – x-factor affecting my own health.
I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organizers, sponsors, promoters and each of their agents, representatives successors and assigns, and all other persons and entities associated either directly or indirectly with the event from all claims demands, costs, expenses, proceedings, arising of my participation in the event and I am hereby indemnifying them against all liability, including, but not limited to liability for and in respect of all injury, death, loss or damage, arising out of my participation in the event.
If I am injured or taken ill or otherwise suffer any detriment, whatsoever, I hereby irrevocably authorize the event officials and organisers, at my risk and cost, to transport me to a medical facility and or to administer emergency medical treatment and I waive all claims that might result from such transport and or treatment or delay or deficiency therein and shall pay or reimburse to you all my medical and emergency expenses and hereby authorise you to incur the same and shall provide to race officials such medical data relating to me as they may request. I agree that nothing here shall oblige the event officials or organisers or any person to incur any expenses or to provide any transport or treatment.
I unequivocally give permission, unless I confirm otherwise in writing to event organisers, for my personal information and details to be forwarded for the purpose of the event administration and further permit my name, personal information quotes and photographic likeness in still photography or video to be used for the marketing and promotional purposes of the event and to other stakeholders if required.
If the rule of law prevents any of the above paragraphs or any part of it to be unenforceable then it shall be constructed so as to give the maximum possible protection to all persons and entities associated directly or indirectly with the event.
Cancellations / Transfer of Tickets / Refunds are not possible at all. Any requests received will NOT be eligible for a refund, under any circumstances (except for the below stated). I, all in all, agree to the event’s cancellation & withdrawal policy as per mentioned on the event website & related pages.
Also, in case of occurrence of any unforeseeable circumstances / events / situations (even force majeure or new COVID wave) due to any x-factor leading up to event cancellation, the event fees paid wouldn't be refunded under any circumstances. (except for the below stated)
There will be no future adjustment / carry forward of the fees towards any other event in any case. The race shall be changed into a Non Timed Virtual Race and the physical takeaways like Race T-Shirt, Goodie Bag, Finisher Medal (based on finish status) and other items (if any) shall be sent via courier after the virtual event.
However, in case of any disturbance / hindrance / calamity / improper weather conditions we hold the right to modify the start time / cut-off time / race route / cancel / postpone the event - for everyone's good and no refund would be applicable on strict basis. Best alternatives shall be provided to all the attendees in this rare case.
In case of reimbursement, if there for any reason, Tuffman shall be only liable of the amount which the attendee / buyer pays to us (excluding processing fees and applicable taxes, if any)
I understand that correct and fully filling the address (in case, if required) shall enable the organisers to ensure delivery of the parcel within time (if applicable).
Users of email services that offer filtering / blocking of messages from unknown email address should recognise emails from tuffmanindia@gmail.com, info@tuffmanindia.com and emails from address ending with @tuffmanindia.com as a part of their regular address list. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the participants.
Participant’s successful signing up for an event whether online or offline, is his / her acceptance to this disclaimer too.
