"The City Beautiful" - Chandigarh is a union territory city in India that serves as the capital of the two neighbouring states of Haryana and Punjab. The metropolitan area of Chandigarh–Mohali–Panchkula collectively forms a Tri-City.

It will be the 3rd Edition of the triathlon event in Chandigarh where you can participate for 113 Kms / 70.3 Miles distance comprising of 1.9 Kms (1.2 mi) - Swimming, 90 Kms (56 mi) - Cycling, 21.1 Kms (13.1 mi) - Running.

The event has Olympic & Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon distances too. It will be a LIMITED & LIVE Event. ⚠️

RACE COURSE & AID STATIONS
===========================

SWIM will begin and end at Lake (most tentative) It will be an open water swim in Lake in loops (exact lap length will be informed soon)

BIKE - After the swim leg, you will have a transition to the bike leg with 90-95% flat course passing through Uttar Marg -> Matka Chowk -> PGI Hospital -> Mullanpur Town -> Baddi - Chandigarh Road Junction and then turning back to continue in loops as per your distances to again finish bike leg at DLF - The City Club, New Chandigarh.

RUN - After the bike leg, you will have a transition to the run leg with a totally flat course starting from DLF - The City Club, New Chandigarh and continuing in loops of 5 kms as per your distances to finally finish at DLF - The City Club, New Chandigarh.

It will be a very top-notch and personal best performance inducing course experience for all the athletes as it's mostly a flat course route for the Bike & Run Leg. There will only be 1-2 flyovers enroute. (Exact number to confirmed after an upcoming recce - planned to take place soon)

AID STATIONS
============

5 Aid Stations along with 1 Medical Station will be put up in the race as they shall be enough to keep you well hydrated and energy full.

The race course should be almost traffic free which shall be enabling you to ride or run worry free.

Physiotherapy Support will be available at the end of the race.

CANCELLATION & WITHDRAWAL POLICY
===================================

Cancellations / Transfer of Tickets / Refunds / Adjustments are not possible at all. Any requests received will NOT be eligible for a refund, under any circumstances.

Also, in case of occurrence of any unforeseeable circumstances/events /situations (even force majeure) due to any x-factor leading up to event cancellation, the event fees paid wouldn't be refunded under any circumstances.

ONLY APPLICABLE IN CASE OF THE NEW WAVE OF COVID-19 or ANY OTHER EXTERNAL DISTURBANCE LEADING TO FORCE MAJEURE - There will be no future adjustment / carry forward of the fees towards any other event in any case, and the race format will be changed into a NON - TIMED Virtual Race for everyone. The physical takeaways like Race T-SHIRT, Finisher Medal (based on finish status) & other items (if any) shall be sent via courier 50 days after the virtual event.

By agreeing to this disclaimer, i agree to abide by the rules of Tuffman TRI 113 Chandigarh (3rd Edition) dated 27 th August, 2023 (Sunday) and i understand that it is my responsibility to take care of myself while running.
I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically fit and properly trained. Any health problems or fatal cases such as death-causing accidents or even death before, during or after the event, the organizers, sponsors, promoters, event location owners and each of their agents, representative’s successors and assigns, and all other persons and entities associated either directly or indirectly with the event, will not be responsible at all.
In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I presume full responsibility for any injury or accident that may occur while I am travelling to the event or while coming back from the event, or while I am on the premises of the event. I am also aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including, but not limited to falling with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic and conditions of the road or any – x-factor affecting my own health.
I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organizers, sponsors, promoters and each of their agents, representatives successors and assigns, and all other persons and entities associated either directly or indirectly with the event from all claims demands, costs, expenses, proceedings, arising of my participation in the event and I am hereby indemnifying them against all liability, including, but not limited to liability for and in respect of all injury, death, loss or damage, arising out of my participation in the event.
If I am injured or taken ill or otherwise suffer any detriment, whatsoever, I hereby irrevocably authorize the event officials and organisers, at my risk and cost, to transport me to a medical facility and or to administer emergency medical treatment and I waive all claims that might result from such transport and or treatment or delay or deficiency therein and shall pay or reimburse to you all my medical and emergency expenses and hereby authorise you to incur the same and shall provide to race officials such medical data relating to me as they may request. I agree that nothing here shall oblige the event officials or organisers or any person to incur any expenses or to provide any transport or treatment.
I unequivocally give permission, unless I confirm otherwise in writing to event organisers, for my personal information and details to be forwarded for the purpose of the event administration and further permit my name, personal information quotes and photographic likeness in still photography or video to be used for the marketing and promotional purposes of the event and to other stakeholders if required.
If the rule of law prevents any of the above paragraphs or any part of it to be unenforceable then it shall be constructed so as to give the maximum possible protection to all persons and entities associated directly or indirectly with the event.
Cancellations / Transfer of Tickets / Refunds are not possible at all. Any requests received will NOT be eligible for a refund, under any circumstances (except for the below stated). I, all in all, agree to the event’s cancellation & withdrawal policy as per mentioned on the event website & related pages.
Also, in case of occurrence of any unforeseeable circumstances / events / situations (even force majeure or new COVID wave) due to any x-factor leading up to event cancellation, the event fees paid wouldn't be refunded under any circumstances. (except for the below stated)
There will be no future adjustment / carry forward of the fees towards any other event in any case. The race shall be changed into a Non Timed Virtual Race and the physical takeaways like Race TShirt, Goodie Bag, Finisher Medal (based on finish status) and other items (if any) shall be sent via courier after the virtual event.
In case of reimbursement, if there for any reason, Tuffman shall be only liable of the amount which the attendee / buyer pays to us (excluding processing fees and applicable taxes, if any)
I understand that correct and fully filling the address (in case, if required) shall enable the organisers to ensure delivery of the parcel within time (if applicable).
Users of email services that offer filtering / blocking of messages from unknown email address should recognise emails from tuffmanindia@gmail.com, info@tuffmanindia.com and emails from address ending with @tuffmanindia.com as a part of their regular address list. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the participants.
Participant’s successful signing up for an event whether online or offline, is his / her acceptance to this disclaimer too. I understand that as & when I sign up for an event, I agree for all the above and hereby agree to the event’s terms and conditions.
