TUFFMAN BENGALURU HALF MARATHON (3RD EDITION)

TERMS & CONDITIONS AS YOU SIGN UP FOR THE RACE

·      By agreeing to this disclaimer, i agree to abide by rules of Tuffman Bengaluru Half Marathon (2027) OR Tuffman Bengaluru Half Marathon (3^rd Edition) dated 7^th February, 2027 (Sunday) and i understand that it is my responsibility to take care of myself while running.

 

·      I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that i should not enter and participate unless i am medically fit and properly trained. Any health problems or fatal cases such as death causing accidents or even death before, during or after the event, the organizers, sponsors, promoters, event location owners and each of their agents, representatives successors and assigns, and all other persons and entities associated either directly or indirectly with the event, will not be responsible at all.

 

·      In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, i resume full responsibility of any injury or accident that may occur while i am travelling to the event or while coming back from the event, or while i am on the premises of the event. I am also aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including, but not limited to falling with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic and conditions of the road or any – x factor affecting my own health.

 

·      I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organizers, sponsors, promoters and each of their agents, representatives successors and assigns, and all other persons and entities associated either directly or indirectly with the event from all claims demands, costs, expanses, proceedings, arising of my participation in the event and i here by indemnify them against all liability, including, but not limited to liability for and in respect of all injury, death, loss or damage, arising out of my participation in the event.

 

·      If i am injured or taken ill or otherwise suffer any detriment, whatsoever, I hereby irrevocably authorize the event officials and organisers, at my risk and cost, to transport me to a medical facility and or to administer emergency medical treatment and i waive all claims that might result from such transport and or treatment or delay or deficiency there in and shall pay or reimburse to you all my medical and emergency expanses and here by authorise you to incur the same and shall provide to race officials such medical data relating to me as they may request. I agree that nothing here in shall oblige the event officials or organisers or any person to incur any expanses or to provide any transport or treatment.

 

·      I unequivocally give permission, unless i confirm otherwise in writing to event organisers, for my personal information and details to be forwarded for the purpose of the event administration and further permit my name, personal information quotes and photographic likeness in still photography or video to be used for the marketing and promotional purposes of the event and to other stakeholders, if required.

 

·      If the rule of law prevents any of the above paragraphs or any part of it to be unenforceable then it shall be constructed so as to give the maximum possible protection to all persons and entities associated directly or indirectly with the event.

·      Cancellation / Transfer of Ticket / Refund / Adjustment to future events is not possible at all. Any requests received will not be eligible for a refund, under any circumstances.

 

·      Also, in case of occurrence of any unforeseeable circumstances / events / situations (even force majeure) due to any x-factor leading up to event cancellation, the event fees paid wouldn't be refunded under any circumstances.

 

·      ONLY APPLICABLE IN CASE OF THE NEW WAVE OF COVID-19 or DUE TO EFFECTS OF WAR or ANY OTHER EXTERNAL DISTURBANCE LEADING TO FORCE MAJEURE - There will be no future adjustment / carry forward of the fees towards any other event in any case, and the race format will be changed into a NON - TIMED Virtual Race for everyone. The physical takeaways like Race T-SHIRT, Finisher Medal (based on finish status) & other items (if any) shall be sent via courier 50 days after the virtual event.

 

·      No refunds, cancellations, or future adjustments will be provided in case of non-attendance to the event.

 

·      I, all in all agree to the event’s cancellation & withdrawal policy as per mentioned on the event website & related pages.

 

·      Race bags are required to be collected only as per the designated bib / race bag collection schedule. In case of failure to collect, the participant shall not be entitled to receive the race bag or t-shirt on race day, and no courier delivery shall be arranged to the participant’s home or office address.

 

·      Bib Usage & Wearing Instructions - Displaying the bib implies acceptance of all event rules; it is strictly non-transferable and must be worn only by the registered participant. The bib must be worn visibly on the chest, attached horizontally, kept intact without folding, tampering, or removal of the timing chip / foam spacer, and must remain clearly visible at all times and should not be covered with any layer such as a jacket / bottle holder, etc. including while crossing timing mats. Any misuse, including interchange of bibs, will result in disqualification from the 2027 & 2028 editions of the event, and while the bib may be kept as a souvenir, it cannot be used for timing at any other event.

 

·      IN CASE OF TIMING QUERIES / DISCREPANCY IN RESULTS – We request you to write to the relevant timing partner’s support email address & adding info@tuffmanindia.com in cc for addressing your timing query or discrepancy in results, max within 3 days of the run. Any timing query shall not be entertained post 7 days of the run, as results get finalized by then. Queries via Instagram DMs won’t be entertained.

 

·      Race results for participants starting earlier than their race start time & late finishing participants shall be withheld & shall be considered as Disqualified or Did Not Finish respectively.

 

·      Cut-off times & distances for the race can be modified by us at any point of time depending upon the weather conditions, route conditions, VIP movements and in case of natural events, the race can be cancelled / rescheduled / held as a virtual event too & shall be communicated to you as soon as possible after the same is felt at any point of time before or during the race. Any kind of refund requests on the same account won’t be entertained under any circumstances.

·      In case of reimbursement, if there, Tuffman shall be only liable of the amount which the attendee / buyer pays to us (excluding processing fees and applicable taxes, if any)

 

·      I understand that correct and fully filling the address (in case, if required) shall enable the organisers to ensure delivery of the parcel within time (only - if applicable).

 

·      Users of email services that offer filtering / blocking of messages from unknown email address should recognise emails from tuffmanindia@gmail.com, info@tuffmanindia.com and emails from address ending with @tuffmanindia.com & emails from the ticketing partner with domains @konfhub.com & @citywoofer.com as a part of their regular address list. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the participants.

 

·      Participant’s successful signing up for an event whether online or offline, is his / her acceptance to this disclaimer too & the participant is deemed to have read & understood all race-related information as per the race website or as per emails.
