Garbett Plateau Trek is famous for the stunning view it offers from the top most point of the trek, also called the Garbett Point. From its very location in the south-west of Matheran, one can easily get a 360-degree view of entire hill station that comprises countless waterfalls, the lush green blanket of the Sahyadris and one of the biggest plateaus in the region, making it a priceless view for a true nature lover. The route to the Garbett point is even more interesting, where after a quick sneak-peak into the villages nearby, you walk all alongside a beautiful dam called Dhom. During monsoons one gets to cross a few streams, encounter small waterfalls on the way. Post monsoons the land becomes all green and is one of the most sort after treks. We will trek from the easy patches to steep climbs and stronger wind blows as you’re nearing the plateau. This continues while heading towards the Garbett point. Any time between July to December is a good time to trek here.
Itinerary:
When: 28July 2019 (Sunday)
Departure: Morning
4:30 AM – Swargate (Nataraj Hotel)
4:40 AM – Shivaji Nagar (Bank of Maharashtra)
4:50 AM – Nashik Fata
5:00 AM – Nigadi
5:10 AM – After Attendance Departure to Bhutivali Village
8.15 AM - Reach Bhutivali Village
Have Tea & breakfast in Village
8:45 AM – We will start our trek from Bhutivali. In the presence of Fluttering waterfalls, dense jungle, running streams, complete our trek and reach back to Bhutivali village at approx 3.00pm.
Reach back to Pune by 8.30 PM (tentative time based on previous experiences).

• Transport by Non- AC High Back Private Vehicle

What to Bring?
• A Good Quality of Rucksack suitable for One day Trek
• Minimum 2 Litre. Water.
• Extra Dress wrapped in plastic.

• Glucan – D OR Electrol – Optional
• Shoes Compulsory in a Good Condition while trekking. Avoid Canvas, Woodland, and Leather shoe.
• Dress Code – T-shirt, Flexible Track pant. (HALF PANT NOT ALLOWED.)
• Personal Medicines, if any.
