Chandigarh: Sargun Mehta, Punjabi actress, model and producer is all set to make her major Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar as a female cop ‘S.H.O Parmar’ in the suspense thriller “Cutputli.” The trailer of the same came out recently, in which Sargun’s role was kept as a suspense.
Sargon is known for owning her movie characters in cinema and doing justice to all her roles. The actress said, “I am very excited to start a new innings and do something in Hindi after a long hiatus of seven years. There’s a huge audience for thrillers which is why I wanted to do a different and strong character. I am hopeful about the outcome and now waiting for the audience’s reaction.”
Reacting to the same, Sargun’s ‘Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh’ co-star Gippy Grewal said, “To be honest, I didn’t know she was doing the project, and in the trailer, we couldn’t figure out much about her role. However, the kind of performer Sargun Mehta is, I believe since she was taken in the movie, they should have shown her more in the trailer.”
