After renovation work spanning about nine months, Sector 23 all-weather swimming pool restarted operations on January 16, 2023.
Chandigarh has 12 swimming pools, out of which sector 23 pool is the only one which is an all-weather pool that operates in the winter session.
The pool annually opens for the winter session in November and remains functional till March.
The pool would remain open six hours on all working days, including morning and evening sessions. The user fee has been reduced to half in the winter session in view of the delayed opening of the pool.
Timings: 6 am-7pm
Timing for National players/state players/trainees: 6 am to 8 am in the morning session
3 pm to 4.30 pm in the evening session.
Non-students: 8 am to 10 am in the morning session and 4.30 pm to 6 pm in the evening session.
Coaches will allot time slots to members
